Three things about my passion

A children book that I love is: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish By Dr. Suess.  The reason I love that book is because it help the kids recognize their numbers and colors.  All of Dr. Suess books are good bookds for the kids.   It also helps the kids see different animals, because learning animals are important to a childs learning to.  It is more than one thing to learn at one time in this book.

A story about a child that has touched my heart: It was last year when a kid was on the news at Christmas time.  The story tounched my heart because he told his Mom that he didn't want anything for Christmas but to feed the homeless.  So the boy's parents brought a full course meal to feed he homeless.  I forgot how many people he fed but that's what he wanted to do.  He said he see people everyday on the streets with no where to go and nothing to eat.  His family fed the homeless, and they still brought him stuff for Christmas.  I applaud him for that because sometimes I give to the homeless, but sometime the homeless people will go get drugs or liquor. I don't support habits.

  1. I love Dr. Seuss' stories too. My favorite is "Oh, The Thinks you Can Think." His stories provides rhythm and rhyme that captures children's attention and a story line that provides teachers an opportunity to teach students about an idea or topic. I also use the story "Green Eggs and Ham" to encourage students to try new foods and it works.

I also heard of a similar story. Children are so selfless and giving...we have to learn how to foster that characteristic in more children to continue into adulthood and it would solve many of our problems in society today.
